Crystal Palace currently have 13 players out on loan, from the Scottish Championship, to the Belgian First Division B. This monthly piece will take a look at how the standout players are fairing.
Rob Street, Shrewsbury Town
After two successful loans to Torquay and Newport, Street has adapted well to life at Shrewsbury Town. He's started 18 games; scoring one goal and gaining one assist. Despite not boasting a huge goal record yet, he has become a regular starter and popular amongst the Salop fans.
Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, Charlton Athletic
Rak-Sakyi has been the standout loanee for us so far this season. Having recently impressed in the Quarter-Final League Cup game at Old Trafford, this continued an already impressive run of form for the 20-year-old winger. Rak-Sakyi has 7 goals and 2 assists in 23 appearances for Charlton. He has also become popular amongst the clowns, sorry, the Charlton fans... 🤡

Remi Matthews, St Johnstone
Having only missed 2 games this season, Matthews has clearly won favour with manager Callum Davidson. The shot-stopper has kept 3 clean sheets so far this season.
Reece Hannam, Bromley FC
In a move to the National League, Hannam has been an infrequent starter for Bromley and is yet to start a game in 2023.
Scott Banks, Bradford City
Despite not being a regular starter at Bradford (making 13 appearances), Banks has scored 3 goals, with an impressive free-kick against AFC Wimbledon.

John-Kymani Gordon, Carlisle United
Gordon scored on his debut for Carlisle against Newport County, so this is definitely a loan to watch. He was also awarded MOTM in that game.
Luke Plange, RWD Molenbeek
After being sent back to Derby on loan after signing for Palace on Deadline Day 2022, Plange has been sent to Molenbeek alongside Jake O'Brien. He's scored twice in 13 appearances, and struggled to nail down a starting place.
Jake O’Brien, RWD Molenbeek
At RWD Molenbeek (owned by Palace investor and director John Textor), O'Brien has started 16 of the 18 games he's been at the club. The young Irish defender has kept 4 clean sheets and scored 1 goal.
Malachi Boateng and David Boateng, Queen's Park
Malachi Boateng has started every game for Queen's Park this season with 1 goal and two assists. David Boateng has not faired so well, making only 6 appearances since joining in September.
Dan Quick joined Billericay Town on January 13th on loan after a spell at Dorking Wanderers. Jack Butland has also departed the club on loan to Manchester United until the end of the season, but is yet to make an appearance. Killian Phillips has made 1 appearance at Shrewsbury Town since joining on January 1st.
