After an away loss to Chelsea on Sunday, Palace look to a home fixture against a high-flying Manchester United side. With only one win in five games, Patrick Vieira will be looking to change the sides fortunes with a result under the Selhurst lights.

This will be no easy feat however, with Erik ten-Hag's side having won their last 5 games. Marcus Rashford has been in terrific form of late, and with Joachim Andersen a doubt, he could provide major problems for the Palace back line.

Despite the bad run of form for The Eagles currently, the last 5 games against Man United make for a more positive viewing. Palace have won twice, drawn once and lost twice. The side should not feel therefore that a result tomorrow night is impossible.

Team News

Andersen picked up a calf strain during the Chelsea game, so he is unlikely to start. Vieira has refused to put a date on his return.

James McArthur and Nathan Ferguson remain out for the foreseeable future.

New Dutch arrival Wout Weghorst (on loan from Burnley until the end of the season), could make his debut for United.

Antony Martial picked up a knock during the Manchester Derby, so he may miss out. Diogo Dalot has an ongoing hamstring problem and is likely to miss out.

Jadon Sancho, Donny van de Been and Axel Tuanzebe are long-term absentees.

Match Prediction

I unfortunately can only see one outcome of this game. We offered very little attacking threat against Chelsea for large parts of the game, and looked overwhelmed in midfield. I see it being a similar case against Man United.

Rashford will be looking to exploit the gap left by Andersen and further his scoring streak. The Red Devils have also looked extremely strong in the middle of the park, which I believe will be too strong for our already struggling midfield. I see this going 0-3 to Man United.

Here's to hoping though, Up the Palace as always! 🔴🔵
