Games continue to come thick and fast for Palace, with another home tie against 4th place Newcastle.

After a solid performance and a well deserved point against Manchester United, Palace fans will be feeling more optimistic going into another tough game. Goals have still been scarce for the Eagles however, particularly from open play.

Eddie Howe's men come into the game after a tight 1-0 win over Fulham. At the back, they have kept a clean sheet in their last 5 league games. They will be looking to set a club record of 15 top-flight matches without defeat.

Team News

Joachim Andersen is the only new absentee for Palace, with James McArthur and Nathan Ferguson still no closer to return.

Newcastle are without Bruno Guimaraes after an ankle injury against Fulham last Sunday. Jonjo Shelvey and Matt Targett are also out.

Match Prediction

Patrick Vieira will be looking to capitalise on Wednesday's result, ideally scoring from open play whilst doing so. I think it will be a tight game at Selhurst, with Newcastle especially tough to break down this season. I see this game ending 0-0; which is how our other two games against Newcastle this season have ended.
