With new manager Oliver Glasner getting off to a flying start last weekend against Burnley, we now face a fresh test against Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs side.
Spurs are sat 5th in the table currently, and Postecoglu will be looking to close the gap on Villa over the weekend.
Team News
CRY:
It’s been a mixed bag concerning injuries this week. Glasner confirmed in his press conference today that Will Hughes and Ebere Eze returned to full training this week, which provides a huge boost to the midfield. Ebs in particular is a player that I’m sure will thrive under the Austrian, so it will be exciting to see him playing in the coming weeks.
However, the news that Marc Guéhi will be out for 6-8 weeks as he requires knee surgery broke earlier, which Glasner confirmed today.
He stated: “Last week I said I hope he [Guéhi] can be with us in training this week, but his knee reacted in a way we didn’t like, so he visited the doctor one more time and he said 'okay, it’s better to have surgery.”
TOT:
Postecolgu today announced that Brazilian forward Richarlison is set to be out for tomorrow’s game. Pedro Porro also remains out for the tie, however, Destiny Udogie could return to the line-up after he trained this week.

Match prediction:
As Glasner pointed out in the presser today, we are without an away win at Spurs in 27 years.
Good start…
Look, tomorrow is going to be a very tough game against a top opponent. I think the majority of Palace fans are more focussed on the performance tomorrow – how we set up and approach the game etc. I think we could grind out a result tomorrow though. Spurs have not been overly consistent since the new year and are coming off the back of a poor showing against Wolves.
I can see this going 1-1.
But as I said, as long as we put in a good account of ourselves tomorrow and give the game a proper go, that will be a change from a few weeks ago.
Enjoy all making the trip up to north London tomorrow – Up the Palace 🔴🔵
